Louis-Eugène MOUCHON
Medal maker and carver, born in 1843, died in 1914.
He spent his apprenticeship with his father.
He devoted himself mostly to letter-press engraving on steel, bronze and wood.
We owe him many bank notes and French and foreign post stamps.
In 1889 he won the gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in the Art of Drawing category.
In 1893, he won first prize at the goldsmith contest run by the "Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs"
